A Mini Retreat. This day will begin at 10am and finish at 1pm.
This Practice will be a Yin & Yang Yoga Workshop for your liver and gallbladder. In this session, we blend the gentle, introspective practice of yin yoga with the fluid movements of hatha flow Yoga, all centered around connecting to The energy of Spring inside our body and outside of our body.
In spring, your liver and gallbladder organs are the most dominant organs and so it is a great time to work these meridian lines in the body.
The Liver represent the energy of flow in the body, one of the main jobs of the liver meridian is to lubricate the muscles, tissues. When the liver energy is stuck or stagnant we can experience cramps, sore muscles, lack of flexibility in body and mind. We can experience anger, frustration, irritation. The Gallbladder is the engine behind the liver and when this is depleted we can experience that feeling of lack of motivation or moving forward in life, we can find it difficult to make decisions, we lack that energy.
In this class, we’ll focus on the liver and gallbladder meridians,Through gentle poses and flowing sequences. There will be An option of a few acupuncture needles at the end if you like!
This class will bring more balance between yin and yang, movement and stillness…
There will be a option of acupuncture for anyone who wants it. I will do 2 needles for relaxation at the end of our practice as we enter a deep yoga nidra. (optional)
The whole day will be a practice to connect to our bodies and to remember what is feels like to feel completely relaxed and centered.
