A Mini Retreat. Strengthen the Immune System Day Yoga Retreat!This day will begin at 11am and finish at 5pm.
This Practice will be a Yin & Yang Workshop. In this session, we blend the gentle, introspective practice of yin Restorative Yoga with the fluid movements of hatha flow Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Restorative Yoga all centered around connecting to The energy of Winter inside our body and outside of our body.
The First Part of our Workshop we will work with A gentle traditional Kundalini kriya practice for disease resistance and immune support. This Kundalini yoga practice for beginners stimulates the chakras, our digestion, and our immune system to help resist disease and illness.
Kundalini yoga gives us a set of kriyas, or exercises, that stimulate the body physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As you move through these kriyas, you will feel warmer as you fire up your energy and stimulate your immune system building strong lungs which creates good Wei-Chi Energy around the body.(The first line of defence from Pathogens).
We will end our Workshop with meditation at the end to help bring all of the work together!
The second part of our Workshop will Be a 2.5hr Restorative Yoga And Acupuncture Workshop. This will be deeply relaxing and will allow space and time to drop into healing stillness.
There will be An option of a few acupuncture needles at the end if you like that are associated with relaxation of the heart and mind!
This class will bring more balance between yin and yang, movement and stillness…
