Yoga and Meditation Retreat

This full weekend Retreat will be a chance for retreaters to dive back into all there yoga practices in a spacious supportive natural environment. February is a great month to treat yourself to a yoga retreat. Its a time when we are starting to come out of winter and get our body and mind ready for Spring. This Retreat will support that transition. All the Yoga Practices are designed so that they support all levels and abilities. In each Practice you can keep it more gentle or go deeper as the practices are slow and Therapeutic for the body, which allows the mind to find its ease and become more present. We will do a lovely blend of strengthening Yoga and Restorative and Meditative practices, surrounded by nature and completed with delicious vegetarian food.
The accommodation: Mulvarra House is a new retreat centre in the town of St Mullins with stunning views of the River Barrow. Bedrooms are a mix of twin singles, triples, and one quad. All room have a private ensuite. Yoga will take place is the large 60sqm studio that’s naturally lit, thermally heated and overlooking the river Barrow and surrounding forest.
The food: Our hosts will keep our bellies full with nutritious and delicious vegetarian food from around the world. Think homemade soups, rustic breads and hearty curries. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available all weekend.

- Friday:
- 4:00pm Arrival and settling in. Snacks and tea available
- 6:30pm 75 mins Slow Gentle, ease out the body class
- 8:00pm Dinner
- Saturday:
- 7:30am Herbal tea
- 8:00am 2 Hour Yoga workshop
- 10:30am Brunch
- Free time for walks, naps, reading. Soup and snacks are available throughout the afternoon
- 4:30pm 2 hour Restorative Yoga & meditation class
- 7:15pm Dinner
- Sunday:
- 8:00am Tea/coffee
- 8:30am 90 Minute Yoga and Relaxation class
- 10:00am Brunch
- 12:00pm: Packing up and goodbyes
Covid precautions
Attendees will be asked to confirm they have not be diagnosed with, or in contact with a Covid 19 positive person in the previous 14 days. Students will be asked to take an antigen test 24 hours before arrival. Care will be taken to disinfect high traffic surfaces, props will not be shared, and dining spaces and yoga mats will be adequately spaced.- Rooms and pricing
- Room 1 – Triple/quad room. THIS IS A SHARED ROOM. Two single beds and a double bed, ensuite. Can be reserved for 3 people: €350 per person.
- Room 2 – Twin room with two single beds, ensuite: €375 per person
- Room 3 – Twin room with two single beds, ensuite: €375 per person
- Room 4 – Twin/triple room. One single bed and a double bed, ensuite: Can be reserved for 2 or 3 people. €375 per person
- Room 5 – Twin/triple room. One single bed and a double bed, ensuite: Can be reserved for 2 or 3 people. €375 per person
- Room 6 (downstairs without a river view)- Twin room with two single beds, ensuite: €330 per person
Reservation
Spaces are reserved with a €150 booking deposit. These are non-refundable. However in the case of a national lockdown where the retreat cannot go ahead, deposits can be transferred or returned. The remaining cost is due in full 3 weeks before the retreat. If you wish to pay in full, or want to gift someone a space on this retreat, just email to arrange.
